This morning as we drink our coffee, a climate change-fueled category 5 hurricane is slamming Grenada with 165 mph winds. We are linked to this Caribbean island by more than our mutual love for coffee. We share fears that forces largely beyond our control are recklessly and relentlessly driving our planet into terrible danger.

So true! I'm happy to be in the later years of my life. Do wonder what my granchildren and great grandchildren will be facing.
Love the photos but I disagree whole heartedly that the planet is in danger. The planet will survive just fine. We, on the other hand, will have to adapt. We’ve always known that our home orb goes through immense periodic upheaval. It’s why we frequently find vast sunken cities. We aren’t prepared to survive the wrath of Mother Nature. She has her own agenda and it may not align with our own. Time to focus on how we, all of us, can weather the weather.
