Bernie,s one of our heroes. Ever grateful for his decades of work championing people,s right for dignity, safety and personal soveriegnty. As well as the well being of this planet.
All three Florida (born and raised 20-something) stepsons of mine regard Bernie as a hero and political necessity. I am proud of them as most of the family does not agree. Their dad raised them in an atmosphere of religion done right.
Same! I didn’t think he’d be a good president but I respect him more and more every day for being true to his beliefs, staying in the trenches and calling a spade a spade.
Thanks for the wonderful comments and photos. Long ago Bernie came to U-32 to speak to students. I hope he fired them up to become lifelong voters and to know why that matters!
He used to come to our parties at Mt Philo Inn in the 1970s. I rest easier today knowing his unwavering and principled worldview. He is remarkably the same.

Yes. Thanks.
Honesty, integrity and a willingness to learn and grow. An extreme rarity in US politics.
Yes. and I kinda like that he is a pain in the ass.
Here, here!!!!
And then he had the police kick 'us' out of his office during a sit-in (over the Gatling guns?).
Now I live in Boston, and am still following him via his emails, and the news.
We could use a few more of him!
Gobblegobblegobble
Consider it an honor!

what a lovely loving comment. thanks
Our Vermont blessing -- helps keep me sane and figuring out how to deal with things I can't control.
Ah, yes. THOSE things--like everything short of making coffee.
And thanks to you for perspective and hope.
But only if they voted wisely -- i.e. in agreement with me. HA!

He does cut across the red/blue divide and I think you have nailed the key reason.
Bless him! What you see is what you get! wish we had more politicians like him!
Maybe more of them need mittens!🤣
There are very few.
Amen!
I love the caption for the second photograph!
Thank, Janet. And I give thanks for you, too.

Rumor had he, he would never 'partake'. But did he ever loosen up and have fun?
I was having so much fun myself I can’t remember.
