Few things more sharply divide cats from dogs than their relationship to cars. Most dogs cannot contain their joy on realizing they are going for a ride—which is best enjoyed by hanging their head out the window, ears rippling in the wind. Most cats react to vehicle rides as they would to torture; they howl in misery and vow never to forgive the perpetrator of that horror. Fortunately, their memories are short. I have cats and so I miss the gleeful company of a happy dog riding shotgun.

I love how you take these ordinary subjects and show us the humanity and sweetness in them
I so much enjoy the way you see the world. We can learn a lot from dogs about relationships; from cats we can learn how to be true to ourselves despite what everyone else thinks!
