Correction: My art-savvy friend Karen let me know that the guy with the sensuous thighs in yesterday’s Opposable was John the Baptist, not Jesus the Christ. But I did correctly identify the subject of the paired shot as a tree.

Hah, I know (or think I know) what is really going on because I was there (at the dinner table, not in the water). That John the Baptist was always puddling around in water... and Jesus the Christ joined him once, and was baptized himself, so they say.
