Built on traditional quilt designs, photos replace fabric in these photoquilts, which contain hundreds of pieces digitally “sewn” together.
Step back and they appear as calico-like patterns. But close up, the squares and borders break into individual details, others re-form into kaleidoscopic images. Each quilt is specific to the place from which the images were gathered.
