Reflections in glass / granite
Top: New glass buildings in midtown on Manhattan’s far west side reflect each other like mirror on mirror in some elegant palace ballroom.
Below: Seeping for decades through mined strata, manganese and iron stripe the clear grey rock in an abandoned granite quarry in Barre, Vermont. Vegetation grows improbably green on narrow rock shelves. And all are reflected in the pool that has flooded the excavated chasm.
