You were by far my most interesting grade school friend. I petitioned my parents not to move away from Fall River, but lost the vote. I love seeing where you have traveled and what you have seen. I have cycled abroad, but mainly in "first world" countries. You let me see a lot of what I've missed. Thank you.
Back at you Susie. You were my bestie, too. In addition to being a wonderful friend, if i remeber correctly, your father got us comic books at Newberry's [sp]. It was very sad when you moved. There weren't many kids in our hood to hang with and you were the best.
When the comic book month was over, the store only had to return the top third of the cover the get a refund. They were supposed to throw them away. But they made a month long holdover at our house until the next month end. Then they were harvested by my dad and I don't remember knowing what he did with them then. I remember going to with you to the women's club for elegant lunches followed by bee catching in their hedges. Unique activities for 10 year olds!
I wish you had a picture of the nursing pony-trainer! Although your words created a lovely image in my mind. And that hockey player. What a total... autocorrect wants me to say “ducking sick.”
What an amazing life you have had, and thought about, and written about. Thank you, Terry! (I love to imagine galloping under the pyramids, but I have never, and will never, do it...)
I sent an email to the last address I have for you.

I remember the bee catching. I loved that, but no memory of of a women's club or elegant lunches. do you have my email address?
Amazing to know that I know someone from my exercise group who has had such an interesting life!
Mine is just interesting in a gaudy way. My bet is that yours is just as interesting in its own way.
I think you're right!

Ah, we can get all of them--either the photos we'd like or a sentence of a year as a hospital orderly for the "ducking sick."

Seems impossible, doesn't it.
