Your story about Ninja catching a poisonous snake reminded me of the short story "A Shipment of Mute Fate" by Martin Storm. It is available both in print, and online as a radio play.
Incidentally our black cat Ninja (named after yours) also hunted snakes, but fortunately not poisonous ones.
I do. Currently Hooli and Tomo. Hooli is likely part Main Coon, brother of Hilary and Benedict's cats. Some of his good nature probably comes from the cooniness, but also I like to imagine, because he is Canadian.
Nice synopsis of feline personality and human interpretation!
Thanks

These photos brought me great joy on waking up. You didn’t mention Fiddle- I remember his trick.
I forgot Fiddle and Moku. Oh my, and also did not mention my childhood cats Twilight and Midnight. What was his trick?
You held him in your hands belly up, tossed him gently in the air, and he landed in your hands belly down. Something like that.
Do you still have Hooligan? He's a Maine coon cat, isn't he? Love them!

Hooligan is my fave Allencat. Never cared much for Moku or LittleGrey, way too stuck up :-(
But any critter that deals severely with snakes is bound to find favor with Terry!
Forgot about Moku. Was she the one who gave you cat scratch fever?
They are all amazing!!
Yes!
