Here we are, way up in the boonies, yetmy husband was in the hosp twice with covid, and I had a light case, and our children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were all sick with it! All were masked most of the time. Great grandchildren( all teenagers) are still battleing it! I'm afraid it's here to stay. O yes, we have all been vaccinated to the max!
I started leading the zoom Bone Builder class, from our 4 Corners School group, from my basement, which continues to this day. I really have benefited, because being the convener means I have to get there every day. It's been interesting to see how doing it twice a week, every week, has made a difference to my body. Those very simple moves...It's also made a big difference to my own mental health, having so small a purpose. I feel useful and connected in a manageable way. Thanks, covid...!
Four years ago today! What a shock! I remember feeling so lucky that I live in a house, alone, with much garden space, with a few neighbors close for company. Unlike those in apartments, often lonely, or worse, shut up with their kids.
We recreated our little Adamant Coop so that we could accommodate everyone with orders put out on the side porch. We had teams that took phone orders, payments, put orders together, took bags outside…it was a nice, often fun machine, and every one of us felt we were helping those in need. Such a mixture of feelings.
Terry, your writing is beautiful; it (you) so captures the human experience, the fear, the irrationality and the hope we had and still have.
Thank you so much Ruth. What a lovely thing to say.

That is just terrible Edie. I was nervous of Covid, but terrified of long covid. Fortunately I have escaped [knocks on wood] ... so far.

Beautiful Terry. I love your writing. Bicyclists who swoop down the avenues and swirl through the streets.
Thanks Susan
