It's gratifying that in Iraq, unlike, Iran or some other orthodox Muslim countries, women may show their elegance in public.
Yes, it was good to see. But It was in southern Iraq, which was less strict. And while girls are allowed to dress like that, women generally aren't. I suspect much changed after the war.
I am often struck by this when I visit Nepal. These photos are lovely.
