Yes Great.! A reminder of how "mind boggling " and greed based our USA medical system and the possibilities of bypassing insanely expensive drugs by buying in Canada. Looking for as well for friends in NY state, I just started to explore online for pharmacies in Sherbrooke Quebec. Thanks Alison and Deborah for possibilities for right here in VT.
Great, as usual. This particular subject has pushed my button for years. And it keeps getting worse! I was grateful we could at least help some folks at the PHWC (free clinic).
aGREED! But here's another solution for some of your readers .Univ. of Vermont Medical Center has a discount pharmacy . If you qualify as far as income, and I would say, the criteria are quite generous, you can get huge discounts on drugs. I recently got an Epipen and an expensive dermatological cream for $0.00. And it's delivered. By the way ,I also get my biologic drug for my rheumatoid arthritis free from the Patient Assistance program run by Bristol-Myers Squibb. Without that, my co-pay would have been tens of thousands yearly. Long term solution though- UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE!

Yeah, I want to look into that.

Thanks so much Deborah. I will look into that...for me.
My Canadian friends always ask when Americans will get universal health care.
Ha, when Canadians stop eating poutine.
