Interesting pice in todays Times Argus about the temporary closing of Cloudland Road in Pomfret due to it again being overcrowded with leaf peepers.
Yes, I was just down that way on Monday and saw the "road closed" signs and assumed it was due to impact of the floods! Floods of foolish tourists I guess. That said it IS a lovely area but so is the view out my window this morning, watching one of the season's last Hummingbirds feeding.

While no big fan of spiders, their webs have always captivated me. Will any of your wonderful work be on display next weekend at the Kent Museum?
Nope. I think they prefer photos that slip the line over to painting.
