I would say be careful Terry but then you would never get some of these great photos. Just don't hang around after you photograph one of these Angry Over wrought moments It occurs to me one or both participants might turn their boiling over feelings on you. That guy looks too big to tangle with!
It's like watching the tv with the sound off. You don't know what they are saying so all you have are facial expressions and body language. So it doesn't matter what they are saying but how they are communicating it.
I actually don't watch tv but i have experimented with that. I read Jarvis Jay Masters book about living on death row in San Quenton and he wrote about doing just that, and i found it very enlightening.
The first picture is real people experiencing real pain. The second picture is real people playing the parts they think are expected of them in Most Performative fashion, because they are lost and alone and don’t know what to do with their real pain, or even what to call it, and grotesquely performing pain in public at least means people are looking.

The second pair look like cartoons. They're even dressed like cartoons. The first pair are in a soap opera.
Nice. you are right. I have been enjoying how much people are reading into these photos. Just like in real life.

That’s my take anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I love how much can be read into photos. We both could be completely wrong. just like trying to read people in real life. HA
Great pics!
Thanks. Ah, NY. Always a show.
