Those children's faces! So clear, happy and full of life. I hope they are still alive somewhere and can see this photo of themselves to return to a happier time in their memories.

Yes, thanks. I used to fantasize about going back to Iraq with the photos and trying to find the subjects. I think about them and hope for the best.

I spotted a wild turkey hen in Battery Park once. Also a cockatiel in Riverside Park. Both head-turners!

yes, thanks. i had a exhibit of the iraq photos in NYC, and it was subtitled something like "Iraqis as neither victims nor terrorists
