Thanks for reading Opposable / Photography and Stories.
Beautiful, love the colors
Hard to tell! I love it. Reminds me of our trip to the old quarry.
yes. some of the shots were from there. they have pretty much cleaned up the shed.
The photo quilts came to mind for me too. I love the way you balance the colors.
Thanks. Maybe I'll post a photoquilt soon. have to figure out how it would fit into the scheme.
Fun!
Lovely!
Thanks. so much fun.
Wonderful juxtapositions. Sometimes I think about the first peoples who drew circles, triangles, lines, etc. and wonder what their inspirations were. YOU are doing good work here.
Thank you. It really is play for me.
This is so cool, Terry! Reminds me of your wonderful photoquilts too!
THANKS. I am certainly having fun with the project.
Among the industrial I recognize a DC motor and a 9-cyulinder radial aircraft engine. I find the visual comparisons quite clever.
Good to know. I just see neat stuff. Most were at an abandoned granite quarry shed.
oh yeah, and at a subway substation in brooklyn.
Nice, really touches my aesthetic sensibility.
Yes, I thought of you when i put it together.
