Thank you. That is exactly what I try to do with the site ... than and allow myself to stray and post whatever strikes me. Having had bosses and editors for much of my life, this is such freedom.

Now that truckers are paid less there are many more women taking on the job., and people of color generally too. It’s a lonely job unless you work with a driving partner. And culturally, if you’ve ever stopped at a truck stop, it’s a white man’s universe.

Well, a cell phone is certainly useful in a vehicle if you like being told where to go. Facebook is useful for that as well.

Have you ever seen a kid trying to figure out how to use a rotary phone? it is funny ... and a bit disturbing.

It’s become such an addiction! Even those who have already caused accidents, still drive and look at their iPhones. Not allowed at my dinner table!!!

Hmm. I do love that I now have only one item instead of radios and phones scattered around the house as well as cd/cassette players, etc. What I dislike is not the phone but social media like Facebook.
