Lovely pictures. Small mistake, though. Equinox is when there is equal day and night. Solstice is the long and short.

I do not find any reference to equal day and night here. It is all the solstice. The short day does add two minutes to the day at dawn and at dusk from here on to the equinox. Please explain the equinox reference for me.

I fixed it. The original post said the Solstice was equal night/day [that's the equinox) rather than longest day or night.
