Wow, I thought one was not allowed to photograph the convicted. No? Sweeping is restorative unless it involves a ton of sand. I hope the women were compensated for their labor. In the Japanese movie: Perfect Days, the toilet cleaner is awaken by the sound of a person outside his apt. sweeping. It'a a gentle reminder of the small tasks we all take for granted, and should appreciate more. Thanks for the photos.

I know that rule applies inside prisons, but no one seemed to mind, here. Havent see Perfect Days, but looking forward to it.
