So true. I spend a lot of time alone, in solitude, but not lonely. But if you took a photo, you would not know my state of mind or state of life. Especially since it is everchanging 😊
It is obvious that those of us just looking at the pictures have no idea whether they are alone or lonely. Sadly perhaps those who care about them may not know either.
That is so true. But I do think we project our own lives and situations on images, imagining, and as you say, never knowing, whether that interpretation is correct.
When I saw the woman alone at the cafe, reading, so well put together (I never am), my response was, “wow she’s got it all figured out!” I guess that’s why I live alone. And read a lot.
