I understand! When the cats catch a mouse I try to save it and then i have to set live traps for the mice and release them at the town park 😁

Last (and only) time we tried that we ended up with a skunk in the trap. Then of course even if you get the groundhog without mourning mama pleading for her baby’s release what do you do with it? It’s illegal to release it somewhere else. Fencing is your friend.

I know. Another reason for letting them go. and it would have been terrible if i'd caught the mother and orphaned the babies.
